DASSL provides a holistic approach to supporting victim-survivors of domestic abuse through specialist outreach support for adults, children and young people who have witnessed or experienced domestic abuse.
DASSL provide support in safe accommodation including support for victim-survivors from the LGBTQ+ community, those with complex needs and disabilities, and male victims.
The partnership also provides the Independent Domestic Violence Advocate (IDVA) Service. This provides immediate, specialist support to adults (16+) in Lancashire experiencing domestic abuse. The service delivers immediate safety planning, coordinated multi‑agency support, and clear pathways into longer‑term services.
The adult outreach service is aimed at helping keep victim-survivors stay safe in their own homes and reduce the reliance on emergency safe accommodation and crisis intervention.
The children and young people's outreach service offers support for children as victim-survivors in their own right , delivered through 1-1 support, recovery programmes and therapeutic support.
